Catching UP

First off, I will post pictures soon! I haven't download the new ones and I am searching for old ones.

Okay so my last post left off with my parents arriving and surprising us. It was a wonderful surprise to have them here even though their time here was short. We really enjoyed having them and seeing them. We were all sad that they had to go home but they will be back soon.

Since my parents are here my Dad likes to keep busy. So needless to say Michael and my Dad got to work and started ripping out walls and putting walls in. YEAHH!!! My pantry/wash room will all be one now. I am so happy! Michael and my Dad were also able to install my new microwave above my new stove. I finally have counter space. Things are finally getting done. Michael was able to get a new light put in, the pocket door in and wiring done with the great help of my Dad. Michael enjoys having my dad around to help. Needless to say not much has been done since my parents left. But that's okay. It will be done by the time they come again. Crossing my fingers. LOL

Michael started to rip out the old flooring and adhesive but come to a halt because we got hit with the Stomach Flu this past weekend. Not fun! But we all are starting to feel much better around here. I am crossing my fingers that we can start laying tile by the weekend. That would be oh so nice. Then it's onto more ripping out sheet rock and putting it back in. Then muding and taping and then painting! YEAH!!!! Then onto repainting the dinning room. Oh that is a chore in a half since the walls have that sand texture on them. These walls are so hard to clean! UGH. Then once the dinning room is done then onto the den to finish it up. Then onto the entry way to lay new title there and then onto the bathroom. (I ripped out the nasty old wallpaper that used to be in there the Friday/Saturday before my parents showed up) So it needs to have some holes repaired, painted, paneling put up and a border put up. Then it will be like new. BOY this list is long! I hope we can get it all done in 12 weeks or sooner! YIKES DOUBLE YIKES!!!!!

Not much else has been going on. I had a Dr's appointment on Thursday and everything sounded and looked great. It's hard to believe that I am 28 weeks today. YIKES!!!! Plus I start going every two weeks starting last week. So my next appointment will be July 31st a week from this Thursday. There is no signs of an ultrasound coming soon so we are just being patient and relying on good old prayer to prepare us for this little one. Whatever this little one is it's a kicker and mover. It has been not stop for the past two days. Michael was FINALLY able to feel the baby kick and it about kicked his hand off my belly. It was so funny! The kids haven't been so lucky but they will!

Michael and I were talking the other day about names and we thought we better get a girl's name picked out just in case. We think it's a boy but I have been wrong with everyone of them. LOL My feelings lately is it's a girl. Michael said that knowing his luck it's a girl too. Just because I have FINALLY given into letting him name one of the kids after him. LOL So here are the names we have chosen. IF it's a BOY the name will be Michael Wyatt Brimhall. He will go by Wyatt. IF it's a GIRL we have only chosen the first name. Her name will be Mallory. I like Mallory Alice or Alyse for the middle name but Michael hasn't really decided on that one.

IF most of you don't know the story by now this baby's name has to START with a M. All our names start with a S or M. So it would only be fair that this baby's name be an M. It just happened that. It all started with Melody. I had no clue until I was writing Christmas cards that year that it went Michael Sherrie Samuel and Melody. So why not keep with tradition Right? LOL

I keeping telling Michael that we need to have this baby in Oklahoma or it will just mess up everything. LOL But I don't think we could make a 45 minute drive to the hospital there. For those that don't know the story behind this one, the story is: Michael was born in Germany, I was born in Utah, Samuel was born in Arizona, Melody was born in Italy and Sarah was born in Texas. So we ALL have been born somewhere different. This is the first time that I have had the same Dr and will have two babies in the same hospital. So the joke is to drive across the border and deliver in the car. LOL Wouldn't that make the headlines. LOL Michael doesn't really care for that idea! LOL

Anyways, I think I have rambled on enough! I hope this post finds everyone well!
Here's to Happy Lazy Summer Days!

Hey, send your Dad this way next time he comes. We could keep him really busy. And you for sure have to have the baby in OK. Those kindof traditions were important. My first 3 were born in UT and we considered driving from CA to UT to have Cole. Now he's just the odd ball :)

What a great surprise! I'm so glad you guys got to spend some time with family (it's even better since you didn't have to make the drive with little kids!)
