Our second stop on our trip was to Las Vegas Baby! We decided that since my parent's were going down there for a funeral that we would join them. We had a blast. We left Sunday after church and came back really early tuseday morning.
We got down there about 9 pm Pacific time which was so crazy to us! We were all a little sleepy. But we went and had fun anyways. My parents have a time share down there so we go to stay with them. It's really nice and boy did we wish we would have packed the swimsuits. Thoughts crossed my mind but I just didn't do it. Anyways, that first night there wasn't much time to do anything so we just went to dinner at IHOP and then went back to the hotel. Tyler and Nicole came down also which was really great because we go to spend time with them. It's really hard to get to know your brother in law when you live far away. But he's a great guys. Okay anyways, Tyler and Nicole wanted us to head out on the strip but it was just to late for us. Tell you how late, we were going to go and I went in to put the babies asleep and fell asleep myself. So we didn't go.
We got up early and got ready. My Mom and Dad headed to the funeral and we said we would meet up with them in Boulder and then head to the Hoover Dam. Nicole and Tyler decided to go swimming so we waited for them. After they were ready we took a drive down the Las Vegas Strip. It was fun to see all the neat hotels around there. The kids had fun looks at them as well. We did get out and go in one hotel only and it was the Venetian. It was really nice to walk around the mall part of it and see some of things that we missed about Italy.

Yes that is the Blue Man Group we are standing with but only in Wax. (We think!~)
Michael and I have decided that it would be fun to take the kids back and just do the fun stuff that is all around there. Maybe one day!

I wish I knew that you would be in Vegas! I miss you guys so much! Next time you come my direction, let me know. I'd love to see you, even if it's only for lunch or something!
