Day 7

What was with the weather today? 65 degrees in the middle of January. Totally unheard of around here. Well maybe not totally unheard of but hey it was better than the freezing temps we had last week. LOL

Today was a busy busy day and and exhausting day at that.  The little girls decided to be awake at 2 am. Then Michael text me to see If I was awake.  He finally made it on to his next stop. He'll be there for a few days and then move on to another stop.  Then hopefully he will be there for a little while. But we are not sure.  We actually got to skype with him this morning.  He looks really tired and worn out. I can't image what his sleep schedule is like right now.  His body has to be so messed up.  But overall he looked great!  I think we both were a little emotional.  It's going to be a little difficult to work two lives around a 10 1/2 hr difference. But I will cherish the moments that we get to chat and see each other.

After chatting with Michael for 30 minutes the girls and I headed back to bed.  Next thing I know Samuel is up asking if he can have breakfast. LOL  Well needless to say we got up around 9.  Got busy cleaning the house. It needed it big time since I didn't clean it before Michael left. We were having to much fun! LOL

Had to move some furniture around in the front room and the living room.  Walmart called yesterday and said that the Computer desk was ready for pick up.  Thanks to Jason and Jensen Klodnicki for going and get it for me.  Also thanks to them for dealing with the big mess of it too.  I guess they were headed back to the house and the wind got the computer desk as they were going around a turn and took the top of it off.  Jason went back to walmart and they gave him a new top.  Thanks goodness!  Also thanks to Devon for helping out too!  I truly am blessed to be in the place that I am.  I have such wonderful people to come and help out when needed.  Jason did tell me that next time to just call him and he would have come over and put it together for me.  I just didn't want to inconvenience anyone.  I feel like a bother sometimes. But am glad to know that there are friends out there to help.

After they got it set up and fixed, it was time to get it all set up.  It's so nice to finally have a place for everything! It cleans up my living room so much.  Now there is now way the girls can hurt it. LOL  Famous last words.  So when you move furniture from one room to another it means rearranging more.  Which was great because now I have a place for my Cricut as well!  Maybe now I can get some creating done along with some projects that needed to be done for awhile!

I had gotten an email the other day saying they were giving free tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters game this week. They were handing them out at 5pm at the gym on base today.  I thought it would be fun for the kids and I to go and have some much needed fun.  Gotta love getting things for free! LOL  I didn't realize that you could get an autograph from one of the players.  His name is Buckets! He was awesome.  I had only  taken Sarah with me so she got her ticket signed by him.  I just know need to find a babysitter for Thursday night which happens to be the Relief Society Weekday meeting as well.  HUM, something will work out. I'm not worried.

So I just finished getting my room organized.  Have dealt with Laurel for 2 1/2 hrs of trying to get her to bed to have Sarah wake up and want to sleep in my bed. UGH!  Melody is still up.  Why won't my kids go to bed and stay asleep?  Any ideas on how to make them stay in their beds and go to sleep?  Sarah has been awesome!  She goes to bed on her own and is usually asleep with in minutes.  It's so awesome! No more sitting in there for hours.  Now I can do things that I need to.  Like plan meals, get a grocery list put together. HA HA!  Yeah right!

Well today overall was a good day.  Minus all the yelling, and get so frustrated with my kids not doing and taking so long to do their chores. But overall it was good. Got a lot done today and hopefully tomorrow is the same.  Busy day tomorrow but hopefully I can get something done.  Like grocery shopping!

Michael we love you and miss you like crazy! I hope your day is great and things work out for you! Talk to you tomorrow or wait for you it would be later today! LOL
