Today was much better. It's always better on Sunday.  Finally going to church after 3 weeks of not was like Heaven. There is just something that you miss, oh yeah the spiritual uplifting.  Today was a crazy day in our ward.  We had a lot of changes take place. Knew they would be happening just not so soon.  More than half of our ward is moving by the end of the summer.  That's what you get when you live in a mostly military ward. Today they redid the Primary, Young Women's, 1st & 2nd counselor in Bishopric, 1st Counselor in Relief Society and a few other callings. Like Primary workers and some for Relief Society.
For the Bishopric, they Moved Brother Garney up to the 1st Counselor and made Brother Ruiz as the 2nd Counselor.  Young Women's is President Anne Allen,  1st Counselor Stay Otto and 2nd Counselor is Susie Baker.  For Primary, President Debby Moon, 1st Counselor Sister Cheney, 2nd Counselor, Sister Ruiz, Pianist Sister Fish and for Chorister ME!  Yep you read that right.  I am going to be the new primary chorister.  I haven't done this calling for over 10 years.  It was in Italy the last time.  But I am excited and look forward to teaching the kids.  I have some might big shoes to fill but I know I am up for the challenge. LOL

Today was a great testimony builder for me.  Sister Frazier bore her testimony about going to the temple and how when she comes home the little things don't matter any more.  It's so true.  When attending the temple and the small things just go away.  I have let the LITTLE things get to me these past couple of weeks. It was so great to get that reassure that things will be okay.  I was also listening to my favorite Michael McLean CD.  I love the song Which part is Mine.  I love when he sings it because it gets the message across so well.  At one part this mom is on her knees wondering if the Lord hears her pleas.  Then just like a light the song changes and her answer is , I know if I do my BEST, he will do the REST!   It was the answer to my prayers.  I just need to do my best regardless what it is and the lord will bless me and my family.

Just some updates for you all.
Michael is doing great.  He will be hopefully moving this week to a permanent place.  Which means we will FINALLY have an address to send things too.  When I get it I will send it out to those that would like it.  Just email me and I will give it to you.  Michael has seen the Lords hand in his safety.  Since being in Kabul there has been two separate suicide bombers.  You might not think anything of this but at these locations that the attacks happen. Michael and the group he is with were on their way there.  But through the Lord they were delayed.  One other incident happened just this weekend.  Michael was suppose to go and be with the Afghan Military in Kandahar. Yesterday they had an attack on one of the police compounds there.  They had a car bomb, 6 suicide bombers and 3 hours of gun fighting.  20 people are dead.  The Lord has protected him on numerous accounts.  Some people may think whatever but we know for sure that the Lord has kept his promise. Please Continue to Keep him in your prayers.  They are working. LOL

About the Ribbons and Bracelet's!  The Ribbons and car magnets are here.  But the bracelet's are another story.  They were wrong, had to ship them back, haven't heard from them in two weeks.  Called on Friday, said they had to locate the package that I sent them, would take a day to return my call.  Guess who I will be calling tomorrow? You got it!  They are either going to print me new ones or give me my money back!

Yesterday I treated myself and bought me a new outfit for church. I went and got my nails done too.  I bought everything but the shoes at Kohl's.  I Love the fact that I can shop in the Misses department and get such fun clothes.  I got so many compliments on my outfit.  Makes me feel so good. Plus it helped put the past 2 weeks behind me and ready to face this week! LOL  If you even look close I am wearing a necklace.  I NEVER wear them.  But I think I could get into it. Michael would be happy about that!~ LOL

Here are pictures from yesterday's Game! Samuel did great.  Didn't get to many pictures because the little ones weren't behaving. they were playing with their friends and running around.  I got 1 picture of Mel!  UGH!  I will have to do better next time!
